The beautiful and green village of Pamnar in Dezful is one of the famous and beautiful villages of Iran. The special characteristics of this village attract many tourists to it.
Pamnar village is located at a distance of 40 kilometers from Dezful city. The village is located in the middle of the Zagros mountains and overlooks the Dez Dam Lake (Shihun Lake). In addition to having various and beautiful natural attractions, Pamnar village also has a famous castle and cemetery that attracts the attention of tourists visiting the city.
The lake has many recreational and entertainment facilities, including fishing. The fish in this lake are usually the fish that live in the river, but these fish also exist in the lake and are used to living in it. Living in the lake has caused the fish to feed on the minerals of the lake and their gender is different from other fish. Boating is one of the other activities in this lake. Boating in this lake is very pleasant. The only part of the lake that approaches the dam may be dangerous for boat movement due to the high pressure of the water flow, so it is not recommended to approach this part of the lake. Swimming in the lake is also available for tourists. You can also enjoy watching wildlife in Pamnar village. The wildlife of the area has a lot of (mountain goats).
People who live in Pamnar village still keep many of their nomadic customs. The people of this region have many traditional customs. In Pamnar village, traditional architecture has still been able to maintain its identity and the people of the region have special handicrafts in the village, among which we can mention kabobafi, which the natives of the village are proficient in. Many kapohs (mats woven with palm leaves) have a special identity and are decorated with traditional colors in many houses. In this area, there are special exhibitions of women's abilities in Kapu fabric, which are very important for tourists.
At the foot of Shadab Castle in Pamnar village, there is an old cemetery with standing stones and different inscriptions, each of which tells the characteristics of those who died. Some of the signs on the graves show people riding on horses, which were a symbol of their warfare. On the graves of women there are also signs of fighting and dancing. This cemetery seems to provide a lot of information about the social history of the region.
The best time to travel to Pamnar village is April and June, but you can also visit this village in summer and autumn and enjoy the beauty of its nature. To stay in Pamnar, you can stay in the village and in the rural houses of the area, which are intended for the accommodation of travelers, or you can go to hotels and guesthouses in the city of Dezful. Many adventurous nature tourists camp by the lake at night and enjoy the beauty of nature around the lake.

Pamnar village has many potentials in terms of tourism and is very important in the country and every year many tourists travel to the region to see it.
