Osveh, Cultural Institute of Qur'an and Atrat Osveh,

The first Friday night of the blessed month of Rajab is known as Laylat al-Ragh’aib, and this name was given by the angels. Because it is a night that the angels call “Laylat al-Ragh’aib.” This name is given because when some of the night has passed, no angel remains in the heavens or on earth except that they gather in the Kaaba and around it.
The word "Ragha'ib" is the plural of "Raghiba" and means something that is desired and desired, and also means abundant giving and forgiveness. According to the first meaning, "Laylat al-Ragha'ib" means a night in which the desire and attention to worship and servitude are abundant, and the good and worthy servants of God have a great desire to go to the house of God and communicate and be close to their God on this night. According to the second meaning, "Laylat al-Raghaib" means a night in which the giving and forgiveness of God are abundant, and the sincere servants of God, by turning to the holy court of God and being humble before the greatness of God, become worthy of receiving the infinite gifts, gifts and forgiveness of God.
Laylat al-Ragh’aib, or “the Night of Wishes,” is the first Friday night of the blessed month of Rajab, a month that is a glorious prelude to the great divine feast of Sha’ban and Ramadan. This night is a special manifestation of God’s forgiveness and generosity; a night that, according to narrations, exudes the fragrance of divine mercy, as if all the heavens and earth eagerly join the feast of the earthlings to witness the sincere whispers of the servants. This night is not just a time, but an opportunity to sow the seeds of desire in the garden of hope, because according to narrations, it is during this night that the doors of mercy are opened to those who have sincerely turned to the Lord.
The Prophet (PBUH) said: "God Almighty has placed an angel in the seventh heaven that is called the "caller." When the month of Rajab comes, this angel says every night of this month until the morning: Blessed are those who glorify God, blessed are those who obey God. God Almighty says: I am the companion of those who accompany me, the obedient of those who obey me, and the merciful, seeking forgiveness. My month is a servant of my servant, and a mercy of my mercy. Whoever calls on me in this month, I will answer him, and whoever asks me, I will give him, and whoever asks me for guidance, I will guide him. I have made this month a chain between me and my servants, so that whoever reaches me will reach me. They say that when the Day of Judgment comes, a divine herald will cry out, "Where are the Rajabites?" Where are those who valued the month of Rajab and benefited from it? Then a group will rise from that crowd, and the Judge will be radiant with the light of their beauty, and on their heads will be royal crowns adorned with diamonds and rubies, and on each of them will be a thousand angels congratulating them on the honor and glory of God.
