The life of Jesus Christ

Osveh, Cultural Institute of Qur'an and Atrat Osveh,

The mother of Jesus is Maryam, peace be upon her, the daughter of Imran, a wise woman and a prominent figure in the people of Israel. The father of Maryam, peace be upon her, is Imran, a descendant of Solomon (peace be upon him), and a prominent, pious and pious scholar of the people of Israel. Mary's father, Imran, died during her pregnancy, and his daughter was taken care of by Zachariah, Mary's aunt's husband, and, according to her mother's wishes, she was made a servant of the Temple of Jerusalem.
When Jesus (peace be upon him) was born, it was revealed to Mary that she should return to her people and if anyone asked her about her pregnancy and how her child was born, she should not answer him and should point to her and say that she had vowed a fast of silence. Then Mary returned to her people, the Children of Israel, and when the people scolded her, she pointed to the baby's cradle and asked them to speak to her child. The people of Israel, who were upset by Mary's gesture, said, "How can we speak harshly to a child in the cradle?"
At this time, Jesus (peace be upon him) began to speak in the cradle: "I am the servant of God. God has given me the Book of the Gospel and made me a prophet..." When the people of Israel heard the extraordinary words of Jesus, they realized that Mary was free from any sin or impurity, and Jesus (peace be upon him) did not speak to anyone after that until he grew up and was able to speak.
Jesus (PBUH) has various titles among Christians, including: Christ: which means "pure". Savior: a person through whom the salvation of people is achieved by God's permission. Prophet: a person who conveys God's message to people. New Testament Priest: between God and people In the Gospel of John, Jesus is given the titles "the way", "the truth" and "the life". In the writings of Paul, Jesus (PBUH) is called "the image of the invisible God".
One of the moral characteristics of Jesus (peace be upon him) is the great prophet's asceticism. Like other prophets, he kept himself away from the ceremonies, beauties of the world, and its colorful blessings and he refused to leave his work to others.
One of the duties of divine prophets who are entrusted with the mission of guiding people is to point out the evil effects of negative traits and undesirable actions. In this regard, Jesus is quoted as saying: "Whoever is much sad and unhappy, his body becomes sick, and whoever is bad in character, torments himself, and whoever talks much, his mistakes increase, and whoever lies much, becomes worthless, and whoever quarrels with men, his honor disappears."
One of the factors that greatly influence a person is the people with whom he associates. Therefore, when the disciples asked him: With whom should we associate, he said: One whose sight brings you to the remembrance of God, whose speech increases your knowledge, and whose actions encourage you to the Hereafter. Religious leaders have always spoken about the negative effects of excessive talking. Imam Sadiq (AS) said in this regard: "The Prophet Jesus (PBUH) used to say: Do not talk much except in the remembrance of God; those who talk a lot have their hearts hardened, but they do not know it."
