Biography of Imam Hadi PBUH
Mam Ali ibn Muhammad al-Hadi (as) was born in the middle of Dhu al-Hijjah in 212 AH near the city of Medina in the village of Saria, and in the month of Rajab in 254 AH he was martyred by Mu'taz Abbasi in Samarrai (Samarra). After his noble father, he led the Shiites for 33 years.
His mother's name was Hazrat Samaneh Maghribiyeh; Of course, Madanab, Hadith and Ghazal have also said.
The titles of that Imam have been mentioned by Naghi, Hadi, Amin, Tayeb, Naseh, Morteza, etc. His nickname is Abolhassan and he is called Abolhassan Sales
Ali ibn Muhammad became the Imamate in the year 220 AH at the age of eight.
Mam Hadi (AS) was the leader of the Shiites for 33 years (220 AH-254 AH).
Imam Hadi (as) was present in Medina from the beginning of the Imamate and during his stay in this city he played a very important role in leading the Shiites; So that the Abbasid government felt threatened by the privileged position of the Imam and did not consider his presence in Medina to be beneficial, Mutawakel decided to transfer him from Medina to Samarra in order to further control the Imam.
For some time, they attacked the house of the Imam on the pretext that weapons were being collected against the Abbasid ruler in the Imam's house, but found nothing but the Qur'an and prayers. Interestingly, Yahya ibn Harthama himself says upon his return: "I found in him nothing but greatness, piety, asceticism and courage."
During the presence of the Imam (as) in Samarra, the greatness and popularity of the Imam (as) increased every day, and everyone was unwittingly humbled and humbled before the Imam (as) and held him in high esteem. [6] Of course, the Imam's influence was not limited to the Shiites and included the Abbasid courtiers. Even the People of the Book respected the Imam. :
