Eid Province of Ali Eid al-Ghadir
In the tenth year of the Hijrah, the Prophet (PBUH) was commissioned by God to convey two important issues of Islam to the people, and those two issues were Hajj, Wilayah, and the Caliphate of the Twelve Imams (AS). After this announcement, the people hurriedly prepared to leave Mecca. After the people reached the place of Ghadir Khumm, the Prophet went to the pulpit that they had built under the old tree that was there and then ordered the Amir al-Mu'minin (AS) to be summoned and ordered to stand on the pulpit of the Prophet and his right hand, so The Prophet waited until the people were fully assembled and then delivered his official sermon.
And then he ordered the Amir al-mu'minin (AS) to be summoned and ordered to stand on the pulpit of the Prophet and his right hand, so the Prophet waited for the people to gather completely and then delivered his official sermon.
In order to remove any doubts and suspicions about the guardianship of the Amir al-Mu'minin (AS), he described Imam Ali (as) as his successor after explaining the position of the governor in a linguistic way and stated it as follows: “The interior of the Qur'an and its interpretation He will not tell you unless I take him by the hand and lift him up, and take him by the arm and lift him up. "Then they took Imam Ali's (AS) arms and then said:" Whoever I am, I am the owner and authority of this. "Ali is Molly and has authority."
The second practical action of the Prophet was to take allegiance from the people, because it was too much and it was impossible to take allegiance from that large crowd, so it was possible for people to shrug off their allegiance under various pretexts. Repeat what I say and say: "We obey and are pleased with your command from God, which you conveyed to us about Ali ibn Abi Talib and his Imams and followers, We claim allegiance د The covenant in this regard was taken from them from us from our hearts and souls and tongues and pronouns and hands. "Everyone was able to do it with his hand, otherwise he would have confessed it with his tongue."
When the Prophet's speech was over, all the people repeated his words, and thus public allegiance was taken. In the ceremony of allegiance, the Prophet (PBUH) placed his turban, which was called "Sahab", as a crown of honor on the Commander of the Faithful (PBUH).
Verse 55 of Surah Al-Ma'idah is related to the announcement of the leadership of Imam Ali (pbuh) in which God says: O Messenger of God, convey what was revealed to you about Ali from God, that is, the leadership of Ali (pbuh). He recounted the Muslim to the Muslims and
why in his speech he openly stated the Imamate and guardianship of Imam Ali (as).
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: The day of Ghadir is the highest of the feasts of my ummah and it is the day that God Almighty commanded me to introduce my brother Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him) as knowledge (guidance) for the ummah, so that after me through him Be guided.
