Muslim Eid

Muslim Eid

It is not obligatory for everyone to

perform the sacrificial ritual on this Eid, and it is obligatory only on the pilgrims of the Kaaba during the Hajj, but many Muslims around the world sacrifice sheep, cows or camels on this day and distribute the meat among the neighbors and the poor.
Given that Hajj is one of the most important acts of worship in Islam, the ability to perform it is also very joyful for every Muslim. It is known as Eid.
It is also narrated in many narrations that you sacrifice on the day of Eid al-Adha so that the orphans, the hungry and the needy can also be fed.
Since when has Eid al-Adha become popular?
Eid al-Adha has its roots in prehistoric times. Early humans sacrificed animals and humans to gain the mercy of the gods. The history of sacrifice is very old and has been common since the time of Adam Abu al-Bashar (AS) and has been considered as a religious rule in the past religions.
1.The sacrifice of the children of Prophet Adam (PBUH) who is considered to be the first sacrifice in the world and is specified in verses 30-27 of Surah Ma'idah.
2. After the flood, the Prophet Noah (pbuh) organized a slaughter and sacrificed many animals to God there.
3.The victim of Hazrat Ibrahim Khalil (AS), his only son Ishmael (AS), which is stated in verses 102 to 107 of Surah Safat.
4.In the time of Prophet Moses (pbuh), according to the Jews, two types of sacrifices were common:
A. Demo victim: The sacrifice that was burnt to the fire and left with nothing but its skin, the sacrifice that was offered to atone for the sin and burned part of it and left the rest for the priests and the sacrifice that they made for health and were free to eat its flesh.
B- Non-demo victim: It was the abandonment of animals in the deserts, and the Arabs imitated the children of Israel, and as an approach to their idols, they abandoned animals in the desert, and Islam forbade these reprehensible habits, and this is the same sacrifice that is mentioned in verse 103 of Surah Ma'idah. It is called Bahira and Saiba.
The secrets and wisdom of the victim
1- Sacrificing wealth and giving it is in the way of God.
2- Killing an animal refers to killing the soul of Amara, and a theologian with a winning sword of reason and faith kills the animal of the soul, which constantly forces him to do ugly deeds, and cleanses the house of the heart from the filth of the soul and purifies it in the way of truth. And he should sacrifice before the beloved and perform the Great Hajj, so that if the soul of his commands and desires is not killed and he does not rest, when he has all the worldly blessings and riches and swallows the earth and the sky, he will not be satisfied and he will call me more.
Considering that Prophet Ibrahim (AS) was commissioned by God Almighty to sacrifice his son Ishmael (AS), after being proud of that test, God sent a sheep to sacrifice it instead of his son, according to the Sunnah. Ebrahimi was formed in the name of sacrifice.
The Hajj pilgrimage has conditions and rules, including that the sacrificer divides the sacrificial meat into three parts: keep one part for your own eating, give one part as a gift, and give the third part as alms.
