Imam SAJJAD:

Imam Ali ibn al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib (PBUH) known and nicknamed "Imam Sajjad" and "Imam Zayn al-Abidin", the sixth infallible (AS) and the fourth Imam of the Shiites, was born on the fifth of Sha'ban in the year 38 AH in Medina. On the 12th or 25th of Muharram al-Haram in the year 95 AH and at the age of 57, he was poisoned and martyred in the same city during the conspiracy of Walid bin Abdul Malik, the criminal Umayyad caliph. Dear father of Imam Sajjad (AS); Hazrat Imam Hussein Ibn Ali Seyyed Al-Shohada (AS) and their noble mother Hazrat Shahrbanoo (AS) is the daughter of Yazdgerd III, the Sassanid king. Several nicknames have been mentioned for Imam Zayn al-Abidin (AS), the most famous of which are Abu al-Hassan and Abu Muhammad, and Sayyid al-Sajidin and Sayyid al-Abidin are among his other titles.
Imam Zayn al-Abidin (AS) was born when he was in charge of affairs in the hands of his great ancestor Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS). He understood the rule of his grandfather Imam Ali (AS) for 3 years and the rule of his uncle Imam Hassan Mojtaba (AS) for several months. Imam Sajjad (AS) was 23 years old in the event of Karbala in the year 61 AH and his beloved son Imam Mohammad Baqir (AS) was also 4 years old and they were present in the incident of Ashura that God Almighty miraculously protected him. After Imam Hussein (AS), the noble father of Imam Sajjad (AS), did not pledge allegiance to Yazid and moved from Medina to Mecca with his brothers and children and some of the companions of the Prophet (AS) and his companions to Karbala, Imam Sajjad (AS) fell ill and had a high fever on the way, so he was unable to move but did not leave his father's caravan, and the severity of this illness prevented him from going to the battlefield in Karbala and fighting the enemy. Although the illness of Imam Zayn al-Abidin (AS) was very painful, but in fact it was one of the reasons for his preservation and expediency according to the divine will so that he would not be martyred in Karbala and the movement of Imam Hussein (AS) and the glorious dynasty of Imamate would continue. Disease of that Imam (as) was very severe, and in the
opinion of the enemy, it was impossible to cure it.

The second phase of the Husseini movement (AS) after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his loyal companions in the bloody incident of Karbala and Ashura in 61 AH, led by his beloved son Imam Ali Ibn Al-Hussein (AS) began and the great responsibility of the message The delivery of the Ashuras was carried out by Imam Sajdan and the mystics (AS) in the guise of captive jihad and in the form of a good debate and sermons on that Imam (AS).
After the martyrdom of her father Imam Hussein (AS), Mam Sajjad (AS) took over the responsibility of ruling the Shiites from God for 35 years until the end of their blessed life, which coincides with the most difficult period of oppression and oppression of the Umayyads, and rulers such as Yazid bin Mu'awiyah, Abdullah ibn Zubayr, Mu'awiyah ibn Yazid, Marwan ibn Hakam, Abdul Malik ibn Marwan and Walid ibn Abdul Malik were contemporary.
After the incident of Ashura in the year 61 AH, the enemy ruthlessly chained the survivors and captives of Karbala, including Imam Sajjad (AS), while he was also riding a camel on a disarmed camel. Due to the pressure of shackles and chains from the veins of his neck, blood was flowing.
The sermons of Imam Zayn al-Abedin (AS) and his esteemed aunt Hazrat Zainab al-Kobra (AS) in Kufa and Sham, along with all the sufferings that befell him and the family of the Prophet (PBUH), are one of the currents that, in addition to the Yazidi scandal, changed It is strange to have dinner among the people.
