Why does God not forgive the rights of the people?
Human rights are rights that human beings must respect in relation to others, and non-observance of the rights of others will cause human suffering both in this world and in the Hereafter.
The most explicit verse is verse 29 of Surah An-Nisa 'which says:
O you who believe, do not eat each other's property in a false way, Unless you do business with satisfaction.
Three types of rights with the titles of right of people, right of God and right of soul
People's rights that man should observe in relation to others, God's rights that man should observe in relation to God, such as performing acts of worship and some matters that God has forbidden us to do. For example, God has commanded us to pray, and this is part of God's rights, and the right of the soul. Anything that harms the human soul is oppression of the soul, for example, smoking, which is harmful to health. Among these three rights, according to the verses and hadiths, human rights are the most important.
Imam Ali (pbuh) says: "God put the rights of His servants before His rights, and whoever respects the rights of his servants will also observe the rights of God."
Respect for the lives and property of the people in the sense that we do not harm the lives and property of the people and do not do anything that harms the lives of the people or others are harmed by our behavior. Respect for the dignity of the people is also a matter of human rights, that is, man should behave in such a way that the dignity of others is protected from human hands and tongues, we should not do anything to violate the dignity of others and lower the reputation of others in the eyes of the people. Therefore, we should refrain from doing anything that offends others, such as refraining from gossiping, refraining from lying to others, meaning that no one has done anything, has not sinned, but we falsely accuse him of doing so. Avoid slandering others, avoid revealing other people's secrets, because in any case, a person may have secret issues and secrets that no one wants to know about, revealing these secrets will discredit them.
The rights of the people have a special place in Islamic sources and texts, whether in the Qur'an or in the narrations of the Infallibles (peace be upon them) and jurisprudential books. Establishing installments and justice and establishing social justice and fulfilling the rights of the people is one of the main goals of the resurrection of the prophets.
O you who believe, do not eat each other's property in illegitimate, false and vain ways." (Surat an-Nisa ', verse 29) That is, any seizure of another's property without right and without logical and rational permission is forbidden.
Imam Ali (as) says:
"But the oppression that cannot be forgiven is the oppression that some of God's servants do to others." (Nahj al-Balaghah, Sermon 175)
