Fish in the food

Fish in the food

One of the issues that has received a lot of

attention in Islam is the discussion of nutrition, its etiquette and its effect on the health of the human soul and psyche. As God has called a chapter of the Holy Quran called "Maeda" and this alone shows the importance of nutrition in the worldly and otherworldly affairs of human beings. Fish meat is one of the rich sources of protein, which is mentioned as a useful food to maintain the health of the body. Some nutritionists have found in their studies that eating fish meat not only provides the body with the necessary protein and amino acids, but also makes a person feel fuller for longer. Doctors have long recommended that white meat, especially fish, be eaten more than red meat.Fish meat is a rich source of omega-3, the abundant omega-3 in fish meat can reduce the risk of heart attacks, Alzheimer's, dry eye and some types of cancer. Fish such as kilka, gypsy, sardines, mackerel, salmon and trout along with shrimp, walnuts, canola oil and olive oil are good sources of omega-3s. Consistent consumption of fish and high intake of protein in its meat, especially omega-3, also significantly prevents depression and dementia. From the point of view of traditional medicine, the nature of fish is cold, and since we are in winter, it is recommended to use honey and dates after consuming fish so that the cold nature of fish does not cause problems for them.Imam Sadegh (AS) says: "Whoever sleeps and eats fish and after that, does not eat a few dates or some honey, by morning, a weak vein will overcome a person."
Imam Reza (AS) has interesting recommendations regarding the consumption of this protein substance, he says:Anyone who is afraid of migraine and abdominal pain should not delay eating fresh fish in summer and winter.
In another recipe for fish meat, he says:You should avoid eating eggs and fish at the same time; Because these two together cause colic, hemorrhoids and toothache. It is also forbidden to drink water immediately after eating fish, as it can cause chronic diseases.
Imam Kadhim (AS) also emphasizes the importance of eating fish meat in this regard and says: If you eat it without bread, it is good and if you eat it with bread, it will be pleasing to you. Imam Ali (AS) also says: Eat less fish, because it melts the body, increases phlegm and makes the breath heavier.
Given that people in the northern and southern regions of the country due to special weather conditions and the existence of a large food source of fish, have a great desire to buy and use fish meat, it is good to pay more attention to these points than others.
Undoubtedly, following the advice of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in various matters such as nutrition is the best and easiest way to imitate those noble people. Another knows. A simple but effective behavior that it is good to try is to listen to the words of the Imams (as) even in the smallest matters, for example, if they say to consume a certain nutrition to cure a disease and not to consume a certain nutrition, To have and adhere to that which is good.
