Many people prefer to use traditional and

herbal remedies when facing the disease, due to the side effects of some chemical drugs, so we want to talk about traditional medicine treatments for colds.
With the onset of cold seasons, people are more likely to catch illnesses such as the flu and colds. This will increase the burden of going to medical centers and thus the risk of transmission of Covid 19. Therefore, the best solution is to follow some hygienic principles and simple nutrition based on the teachings of traditional medicine to prevent these diseases.
Traditional medicine tips for preventing colds
Avoid red meat (especially beef and veal) and slow-digesting, overeating and binge eating foods, and chew foods well.
Strictly avoid being exposed to the wind and autumn cold without proper cover.
Do not expose your body to the open air immediately after taking a bath and be sure to cover your head.
Avoid ice water, pickles, fatty and concentrated foods such as pasta, olives, fast foods and industrial products.
Avoid very sour, salty, spicy and spicy foods.
Try to cook more cooked, steamed and grilled foods and avoid fried foods.
Nutritional recommendations
1-Consume barley soup, barley porridge, milk soup with coriander, parsley, mung bean, garlic and onion
2-Eat turnips, drink fresh lemon juice with honey and chamomile tea
3-Drink a decoction of 10 jujubes with a little honey, syrups containing thyme tea and drink mint tea or its sweat.
4-Porridge prepared with the following recipe is useful to control the symptoms of colds and bruises: Dissolve two tablespoons of flour in two glasses of cold water; Then mix five spoons of sugar or honey, 5 spoons of rose, a spoon of olive oil, a little cinnamon and a little saffron and stir on a regular heat and eat a hot saucer every hour.
5 -Gargling and eating a decoction of lentils, gargling peppermint or water and honey and salt and a few drops of vinegar five to six times a day is very useful to prevent sore throat and treat the symptoms of colds and throat infections.
6- Using ginger and decoction of jujube softens the throat and reduces cough and sore throat.
Some effective teas and teas to fight colds:
Hot liquids can soothe a sore throat and relieve congestion. If you add a few drops of local honey to it, you have a natural cough medicine. If you add lemon, you get a lot of vitamin C, which may prolong your cold. Reduce.
Spicy mint
Just a few sips of peppermint tea can make you feel better. The menthol in mint leaves can have a mild numbing effect on the throat and relieve your cough.
Baboon
Dried chamomile flowers have been used for centuries to help you sleep better. In fact, plant flavonoids have a calming effect.
Evidence shows that chamomile tea acts as an anti-inflammatory, so use it when you have a cold.
Lemon tea
As mentioned above, the good performance of lemons against cold is due to the large amounts of vitamin C in this fruit, so if you wish, you can put lemons in any of your favorite herbal combinations, you can also make half a tea to make a specialty. Squeeze a lemon and put it in hot water.
Green tea
Green tea has many health benefits and can help the body fight infections. This tea is rich in antioxidants and has antiviral properties.
Ginger tea
If your cold is accompanied by discomfort in the abdomen and nausea, ginger relieves pain and also relieves the symptoms of nausea.
