Properties of hot springs

Mineral springs and hot springs are one of the

traditional medicine treatments that have long been considered in civilizations such as Egypt, Greece and Rome. There are many hot and mineral springs in Iran that you can use to reduce joint pain and health of your body.
Sistan and Baluchestan is one of the provinces that has many hot springs at the foot of Taftan Mountain.
Due to the high percentage of dissolved minerals, the water of some of these springs is used for treatment.
Because the solubility of hot water is higher, the solutes in the water of hot springs are very high. Depending on the geological structure of the area, these salts can contain different ions, such as calcium, lithium, and even radium. Due to the popular belief in the medicinal properties of some of these salts, hot springs often become tourist destinations for therapeutic purposes.
Hot spring (Ganti)
Ganti hot spring is located in the north of Jazmourian and 300 km northwest of Iranshahr city. The spring is manifested from the sediments of the Quaternary period, which comes out of the ground boiling. The water of this spring is in a row of waters with different cations and anions. The water temperature of this spring is 38 degrees Celsius and has therapeutic values.
Hot spring (Dushing)
This spring is located on the Khash-Zahedan road and northwest of Taftan Mountain. The water of this spring has the characteristics of mineral waters such as atmospheric and volcanic waters and is in the line of calcium sulfate waters with magnesium. The water temperature is 25 degrees Celsius.
Hot spring (Maxan)
This spring is located 110 km northwest of Iranshahr. The water outlet along the granite fault of the first geological period on the southern slope of the Barez mountain range emerges from the ground.
Mineral water spring (Ketokan)
Ketokan spring is located in the north of a village of the same name, which is 27 km away from Iranshahr. The appearance of the spring comes out of the ground from red limestone. The lack of spring water temperature and its temperature fluctuation in different seasons is a function of environmental conditions. The water solutes of this spring are extremely high. The presence of this volume of minerals from this spring comes from the earth and the dissolution of various internal compounds. Its temperature is 39 degrees Celsius.
Hot springs (Speedge)
This spring is located on the road from Bazman to Speedge village. From Speedge to the source of the spring is one kilometer to walk. This spring emerges from the crater of Cretaceous granite rocks on the southern slope of the mountain. Its temperature is 33 degrees Celsius.
Hot spring (Jamshid)
Jamshid hot spring is located on the road from Bazman to Kalateh Jamshid. The spring at the foot of the mountain emerges from a Cretaceous granite fissure. There are natural pools around the spring which are the result of the spring itself and the residents take a bath inside the pool. Spring water is very useful for treating skin diseases due to the presence of hydrogen sulfide. This spring is one of the carbonated springs. The water temperature of Jamshid spring is 44 degrees Celsius.
Mineral water spring (Ameni)
Ameni spring is located in the west of Taftan mountain and at the end of Bidstour river. The high amount of silica and the sour taste of the water indicate the close connection of this spring with Taftan Mountain.
I hope you enjoy the trip to these hot springs, each of which we talked about briefly.
