Life style of Imam Reza (AS)
The lifestyle of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (as) has the highest degree of morality and humanity. Morality is one of the important elements of human personality, and it is the discoverer of the quality of nature, and within him. Imam Reza (as) was adorned with high and excellent morals, and because of this, they attracted general and special friendship. Also, the humanity of that Imam was unique and unparalleled, and in fact, it was the manifestation of the spirit of prophet hood, and an example of a mission that itself He was one of the guardians, trustees and heirs of its secrets. It is narrated from Ibrahim Ibn Abbas Suli , who said: I have never seen Abu al-Hasan al-Reza (as) speak harshly to anyone.
The asceticism of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (as) was comprehensive of all virtues, so that all the great attributes were gathered in him. The noble characteristics of Imam Reza (as) were part of the attributes of his ancestor, the greatest prophet of God, peace be upon him and his family, who were among the distinguished prophets. He used to say about asceticism quoting their fathers that asceticism means leaving the lawful world out of fear of reckoning and the unlawful world out of fear of the eagle.
The Imam used to say: "Clothes are the external manifestation of human beings. They cannot be ignored. The sanctity of a believer requires that in meeting him, human beings observe their own and his own affairs and are bound to be clean and well-dressed." (6) One of the reasons why Imam Reza (as) wore good clothes to the people was that if a person's appearance is clean and pure, others will enjoy seeing this person and will be impressed by him. Just as they change their condition when they see a dirty and polluted human being, they wore beautiful and clean clothes so that people could learn the lesson of order and cleanliness along with simple living by seeing them, and on the other hand show that the believer can be rewarded with lawful wealth. Use the facilities of this world. It is also narrated that there were no traces of aristocratic life in the house of Imam Reza (as). They did not use ornaments and ornaments, unless they ate raw Indian incense.
The importance of the Imam to prayer is quite evident in his practical life.
Another characteristic of that Imam was that every time they started praying, they would send blessings on Muhammad and his family. In prayer or not, they would send many blessings.
Imam Reza (AS) in relation to the faithful servants: The truth of the faith of the servant is not complete until it has three characteristics. Insight into religion, moderation and moderation in life and family, and tolerance in hardships and sufferings.
They showed patience and patience in the face of those with whom they had strife. They tried to remain silent in front of the crooked mouths of others. There were people who disrespected him. But this noble man chose to remain silent in front of them.
