Biography of Allameh Hassanzadeh Amoli

Hassan Hassanzadeh Amoli was born at the end of 1307 in Amol, one of the villages of Larijan in Mazandaran province. He learned Arabic literature and introductory lessons in Amol from professors such as Mohammad Gharavi and Mirza Abolghasem Farsio and others.
Ayatollah Hassanzadeh, after completing the basic courses of the seminary, dressed as a clergyman and at the age of 22, in September 1329, entered Tehran to continue his education. [5] In Tehran, he studied jurisprudence and principles with professors such as Seyyed Ahmad Lavasani, Abolhassan Sha'rani, Seyyed Abolhassan Rafiei Qazvini and Mohammad Taghi Amoli studied. In the course of philosophy and mysticism, he also participated in the courses of professors such as Mehdi Elahi Ghomshei, Allameh Sha'rani, Fazel Toni and Mirza Ahmad Ashtiani. After fourteen years of study in Tehran, went to Qom in October 1963.
He is known as Allameh Hassanzadeh, an Iranian Shiite philosopher and mystic who has many works in philosophy, mysticism, mathematics, astronomy, and Persian and Arabic literature. He also corrected some of the most important philosophical and mystical works, such as allusions, healing and explanation of Fusus al-Hakam, and wrote descriptions and margins on them.
According to Hassanzadeh Amoli, Islamic philosophy and mysticism are on the same path and religion, philosophy and mysticism are in harmony. He considers the claim that Islamic philosophy is Greek to be false; This is because Muslim philosophers have deepened and matured the ideas of pre-Islamic philosophers. According to one of his students, Hassanzadeh was most influenced by Mulla Sadra and Ibn Arabi. Hassanzadeh Amoli corrected books such as Nahj al-Balaghah, Asfar Arba'a, Kashf al-Murad, Kelileh and Demneh, and Golestan Saadi, and published a collection of poems.

According to Hassanzadeh Amoli, religion is the knowledge of God, and this knowledge, since it is wide and extensive, includes the knowledge of the names of God's actions, rules and book. According to him, the truth of mysticism is this knowledge and the original humanizing mysticism is in connection with the Qur'an, and it is the infallible Imams, human teachers and divine ambassadors who explain the humanizing instructions, ie the Qur'an, to human beings. Some of Hassanzadeh Amoli's works are about mysticism; Including "Elahinameh", "Resaleh Laqa Allah", "Resaleh Ineh al-Haqq", "Sharh Fusus al-Hakam", "Erfan wa Hikmat al-Miyaliyyah", "Correction of the treatise of correspondence", "Resaleh Mafatih al-Makhazen"
In the sense of the unity of existence, he said that "there is one truth in the universe and that is God, and other beings cannot be told anything; because it exists to have an effect and the work is made of it."When we compare, we see that other beings can do nothing except with God's permission."
Ayatollah Hassan Hassanzadeh Amoli finally said goodbye at the age of 93 on the 3rd of October 1400.
