In Islamic traditions, this month is called the month of God and the feast of the nation of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), and God Almighty receives His servants in this month with the utmost dignity and kindness; The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said: "The month of Rajab is the month of God, and the month of Sha'ban is my month, and the month of Ramadan is the month of my Ummah.”. To guarantee him and save him from the painful thirst of the Day of Judgment"
This month is important among the people of respect and has a special place and it is the month of their spiritual guidance, and the believers prepare and provide spiritual grounds in the months of Rajab and Sha'ban every year to enter this noble and blessed month. They prepare, and with the coming of this month, with enthusiasm and giving food and breaking the fast to the needy, staying awake and worshiping, reciting the Quran, praying, asking for forgiveness, giving charity, fasting, etc. . They water with divine grace.
In the month of Ramadan, God Almighty has given his servants the opportunity to fast; "So whoever understands the month [Ramadan] should fast." In addition to the material and physical aspect, man also has a spiritual and spiritual dimension, and each of them needs special plans to reach their desired perfection, one of the plans is to strengthen and grow the spiritual dimension, piety and piety; That is, if a person wants to develop himself from the spiritual aspect and reach the desired purity and perfection, he must control his ego and remove the obstacles to growth one after another and not indulge in physical pleasures and lusts. One of the actions that is effective and useful in this regard is fasting, the Holy Quran says: "O people who have believed! Fasting was prescribed for you, just as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may be pious.
Fasting relaxes the soul, mind, heart and body and makes the soul healthy and the body healthy. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) says: "Fast to stay healthy." Again he says: "The stomach is the home of all pains and constipation [fasting] is the highest medicine."
Hazrat Ali says: "God preserves His faithful servants through prayers, zakat, and hadith in fasting the obligatory fasts [Ramadan] in order to calm their limbs and jewels, the humility of their eyes, the humility of their souls, and the humility of their hearts." Today, in medical science and in terms of health and well-being, it has been proven that fasting has many effects on the peace of mind and body and on the health of the body and the body, removing annoying fats, regulating blood pressure, blood sugar, etc.
