World Quds Day
Quds Day or World Quds Day was named by Imam Khomeini as an official day to support the Palestinian people; Imam Khomeini, in a message addressed to the Muslims of Iran and the world on 13 Ramadan 1399 AH (16 August 1358 AH), called the last Friday of the month of Ramadan the Holy Day and asked the Muslims of the world and the Islamic governments to join together to shorten the hand of the Israeli government and its supporters.] The mentioned message was issued in response to the attack of the Israeli forces on Al-Aqsa Mosque and also the bombing of southern Lebanon.
Imam Khomeini considered Quds Day not only as the day of Palestine, but also as the day of Islam and the day of the Islamic government and introduced it as a prelude to the general Islamic mobilization and the formation of the party of the oppressed in the whole world. Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic Iran believes that commemorating the World Quds Day will help the Palestinians who are attacked by the Israeli government not to feel alone and be able to resist.
Every year on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims celebrate Quds Day, people pour into the streets, chant anti-Israeli slogans and declare their support for the Palestinian people. Usually, the extent of this march in our country "Iran" is more than in other Islamic countries. On the last Friday of the month of fasting, fasting people stand in a single line with dry lips, hearts full of love, and powerful arms, chanting slogans against the Israeli regime and demanding the freedom of Palestine.
Mam Khomeini considered Quds Day not only Palestine Day, but also the Day of Islam and the Day of Islamic Government and introduced it as a prelude to general Islamic mobilization and the formation of the party of the oppressed in the whole world.
Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, believes that commemorating the World Quds Day will help the Palestinians who are attacked by the Israeli government not to feel alone and be able to resist. Ayatollah Nasser Makarem Shirazi, one of the Shia Taqlid authorities, considers participation in the Quds Day procession a religious obligation and believes that the Quds Day should become a strong, universal and unified protest against the usurpers and invaders. According to Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Lebanon's Hezbollah, Israel is not only a danger to Palestine, but also a danger to the security, peace and independence of all countries in the region.
Every year, Muslims around the world go to the streets in the hope of freeing the holy holy place from the clutches of the usurping Israel, so that their clenched fists will fall on the mouth of Israel and the day will come when the Palestinian people will be freed from the clutches of oppression forever. Hoping that day
