Philosophy of tying grass in nature day

Iran is one of the countries in the world that has a long history. Some rituals have been left to us from the time of the ancients, which are still performed. Nowruz is one of the long-standing traditions of Iran, which is also celebrated in countries such as Afghanistan and Tajikistan in addition to Iran.
During the days of Nowruz, some other Nowruz rituals are also performed, the most important of which is thirteen in Door. In the following article, we are going to provide you with information about the philosophy of tying green leaves in Sizdeh Bedar.(Nature day)
Thirteenth of April is actually the thirteenth day of April, which is one of the official holidays of the country. Thirteenth is the last day of Nowruz celebration, which after the Islamic revolution in the country's official calendar, was named as nature day. It is interesting to know that in the past, people used to celebrate the twelve days of April as a sign of the twelve months of the year, and on the thirteenth day of this month, they went to nature and had fun; this was actually done in order to finish Nowruz.
In the past, the 13th of Farvardin was called Tir Roz, and Tir in Avesta language means the god of rain. The ancients believed that on the 13th of April, the god of rain will win over the demon of drought. On this day, most of the people take their Haft Sin table greens to the heart of nature and leave them next to the running water; But most people do unique things on this day, which have become stable traditions on the thirteenth day of Bedar. These things include: putting greens in running water, tying greens, eating lettuce with spinach and cooking Ash.
Today's 13 doors are not similar to 13 old Iranian doors. In the past, green plants were planted in the heart of the earth on this day as a sign of respect for nature, but today we see them being abandoned in the heart of nature. When tying greens, it should be noted that the stems and parts of the plant should not be broken; because this leads to its death and drying. If the knotting is done carefully and delicately, the knots will be opened with the growth of the plant and no damage will be done to the nature.
One of the rituals of this green day is tying, which most young people do on this day. Knotting green means tying life with nature to always remain green and fresh.
To tie the green knot is for the purpose of untying the knot of difficulties and fulfillment of wishes, including expelling the narcissism. In the history of 13 years of Bedar, it is well known that tying the knot of lucky girls is an omen for marriage and finding a partner, but to what extent is this connection true and does it really have an effect on marriage or opening a job?!
