Nursing has a very old background and history. The people of the past were of the opinion that the sin and disbelief of humans is the main cause of diseases, and therefore, the treatment and nursing of patients was carried out in a very basic way by the custodians of religious affairs. In the Assyrian sources, there is some mention of nursing and nurses from the ancient Iranian peoples. Six centuries before the Christ, in India, knowledge and knowledge about the preparation of medicine, dedication to the patient, purity of soul and purity of eyes are four basic and necessary characteristics in nursing work. No doubt, nursing is one of the valuable actions of human societies, which also has a high position in the school of Islam, and if it has characteristics, its value will be doubled. Being accompanied by sincerity makes the act of nursing more popular with God, and enduring the hardships of the road, which is a requirement of the noble job of nursing, adds to the value and dignity of nursing. Accompanying with knowing and recognizing the value and dignity of the patient in the eyes of God, due to the special situation it has, gives more value to the nurse's action. Nursing from relatives is another factor that increases the value of nursing. The more hardship and difficulty a person endures in a work such as nursing, which has its own value, the more reward and reward it will have.
